REVIEW: SLEEK SOLSTICE HIGHLIGHTING PALETTE

Highlight is taking over the beauty industry at the moment because everyone wants to achieve dewy looking skin. The drugstore has yet to perfect a more affordable alternative, until now.

For the past year I’ve been using the Marylou-manizer by The Balm because I love how intense it is, so when I saw this product I knew it would be right up my street. It’s a palette which contains four highlighting shades, 3 powder and one cream, that comes in a very sleek (excuse the pun) gold mirrored packing which makes it feel very luxurious.

They’re all so pigmented which can be great or can be disastrous if applied wrong. I apply a little bit at a time and build it up rather than applying a tonne at once. They glide onto the skin smoothly and don’t apply thick and chalky like some highlighters do. The great thing about this palette is that it can double up as eyeshadows as well if you’re traveling. I’m all about dewy skin all the time but especially in summer because it just makes you look so much healthier and fresh.

I am obsessed with this palette and for only €13 you can’t go wrong! My personal favourite has been Equinox which I’ve been wearing everyday since I bought it, and have pictured above. If you’re on the market for a new highlight I would highly recommend this palette because you get 4 colours in one, it’s very affordable, and it has great pigmentation. I will definitely be getting my wear out of it this Summer!

Hope you’re having a great day,
