Lately I’ve been having smoothies everyday for breakfast and I don’t know why I ever stopped. I love smoothies and I rarely used to have them because no where sells any that are made with fresh yogurt anymore, they’re all made with frozen yogurt which I hate. So instead I just started making my own at home and I’ve now come up with my favourite smoothie concoction.
It’s pretty straight forward when it comes to smoothie making (which I love for early mornings) and they fill you up for the day ahead. I love starting the day off with a healthy breakfast becauase it makes me want to stick to it for the rest of the day! Plus they taste great. Also I just picked up this plastic smoothie tumbler from Penneys which I’m in love with and it’s ideal for smoothies. I make mine with:
Handfull of Strawberries
Handfull of Blackberries
Handfull of Raspberries
Fresh Greek Yogurt
Sometimes I’ll change up the ingredients and add things or minus things to make it different but for the most part this is what I go for as I like a very berry based smoothie. I love how easy they are to make and they’re a great way to start your day on the right note.
