Now that we are officially in Spring it’s time to start dressing like it. Today I’m showing you my concert/theatre style and also incorporating in some Spring/Summer ’16 trends.
I’d have loved to wear something like this to the Adele concert I went to a few weeks ago and I was contemplating it, but the weather was just too cold and I knew I’d be doing a lot of walking so I opted for some flats instead. But since then I’ve been dying to wear them and style them. If you’re looking to score tickets to a concert or sporting event, and show off your style in person, check out TickPick. You can skip the fees and surcharges other sites hit you with and still find great NFL Tickets, basketball tickets, and concert/event tickets. This is the ensemble I would choose to wear as my fashion statement going to my favourite artist’s concert or going out to the theatre for a show!
For this outfit I decided to be very on trend and go with pastel pinks as the main colour. Light colours especially pink is everywhere at the moment for SS16, and I’m loving it. Light pink suits brunettes very well I think, unlike mustard which I just can’t pull off, especially when you have a tan. I love this colour, however the main piece of inspiration for this outfit has to be my new Zara shoes I picked up when I was in Paris. The second I saw them I knew I had to have them, I mean just look at them! The main colour of these shoes is mauve pink, but there’s also a burgundy sole, black toe strap, and a green and burgundy marble rounded heel.
The heel detail is what sold me on these shoes, because they look a lot more expensive then they actually were. They retail for €69.95 which is a lot for shoes I know, but when you’re in Paris and most shoes are €500+ they seemed like such a a bargain. They just became available in Zara Ireland but they sold out immediately. I’ve left a link down below to the page in case they come back in stock.
I paired it with my favourite rings from Dunnes Stores and this bag I picked up in Penneys for only €10, which matches the pink in the shoes perfectly. This white blazer is going to be such a staple in my wardrobe this Spring/Summer. I have another white blazer which is a lot more structured, so I’m excited to have this more relaxed fit alternative.
I’ve had my eye on a blazer very similar to this in Zara for a few years now but it retails for around €69.95 so I never bit the bullet. Although when I saw this exact replica in Penneys for €23 I knew it was meant to be. For jeans of course I went with my Topshop Joni Jeans which go everywhere with me, and I’m already on my second pair!
