Today marks the official start of Autumn and I can’t wait to start embracing it. The weather here in Ireland is very unpredictable at the moment with the weather alternating from dry to wet, from cold to dry every few minutes. Here are some of the top fashion trends to look out for this season.
1. The first major trend is suede and 70’s Boho which is meant to be the biggest trend of the season. It emerged all over the catwalks at this season fashion weeks, from suede coats, bags, and also a lot of fringe.
2. The next trend this season is of course flared jeans. Autumn/Winter is when we get back into our jeans after the heat of the summer, and what better way to embrace jeans than through flares.
3. Also this season you will be seeing a lot of warm autumnal colours such as warm mustards, rust oranges and deep burgundy. These colours suit all skin types and perfectly match the falling Autumn leaves outside.
4. My favourite trend this season has to be all the neutral colours that emerged on the catwalks and on the high-street this Autumn/Winter. Neutral knits and accessories are everywhere at the moment, especially River Island. At New York fashion week last week Kanye West revealed his new Yeezy A/W ’15 collection which was completely filled with nudes, neutral greys and brown, illustrating how its going to be a huge trend this Autumn.
Those are some of the top fall trends this year that will definitely be making an appearance in stores soon. Of course there are many more trends this year such as plaid, minimalist, glam goth, geek chic, and pretty and polished. However these ones here are my top picks that I will definitely be incorporating into my outfits.
Hope you’re having a great day,
