Award season has officially begun so we can finally start drooling over the amazing selection of dresses were about to see. Last night was the first of the award shows, and the Golden Globes did not disappoint. These here are my top picks of the night! For me the best dressed award has to go to Sienna Miller. She looked absolutely stunning in this Miu Miu dress which has amazing embellished details, and the cut of the neckline is just perfect. Miu Miu deserve a round of applause for this number.

There were a lot of standard dresses on the carpet were used to seeing every year, but there were four other dresses that captured my attention. Amy Adams looked classic and retro in this draped Versace gown in an off lilac shade. I never would paired lilac with red hair but she proved me wrong and looked gorgeous.

I must say I have a soft spot for long sleeved dresses so when Chrissy Teigen turned up in this super-embellished Zuhair Murad gown I was in awe. Which just goes to show that even when you cover more skin you can be just as sultry. My second favourite outfit had to be Emma Stone who always pulls out all the stops for the Golden Globes. She was the only one who arrived in a jumpsuit and she really did it justice in this Lanvin number, even with a  swashbuckling side sash? I don’t think anyone else would’ve pulled it off and she was one of the few who thought outside the box.

And last but certainly not least we have the ever gorgeous Camilla Alves, can she do no wrong? I don’t think I’ve ever seen her not looking her best. She arrived in this perfect pale pink blush coloured Monique Lhuillier column dress with a ruffled top on the red carpet. These five ladies know how to work a red carpet and choose jaw dropping outfits. Of course there were many other stunning dresses from the night but I choose to narrow it down to these select few otherwise we would be her all day! I don’t know about you but this has definitely made me excited for the Oscars February 7th.
