As humans it is only natural that we all suffer from the odd breakout, or you may be one of the lucky ones who was blessed with naturally flawless skin, in that case I hate you. Unfortunately I have had way too much experience in the breakout department so I have searched high and low for thee best skincare products for me. I know it would sound better if I had a top 5 skincare products, but although I don’t have sensitive skin it reacts better to minimal products. The more products I use the crazier is behaves so I like to keep it nice and simple, if its not broken don’t fix it!

I have holy grail products for different areas on my face, and these are the top 4 that I have tried and tested which made the cut. Finding what products work for you can save you a lot of time and money so you’re not wasting time searching for different ones or spending money on new gimmicks that emerge. These top 4 include a face mask, anti-blemish cream, beauty oil and a moisturiser. The Lush Mask of Magniminty is amazing and highly affordable as it retails at only €12 here for this big tub, and it doesn’t dry itself out either! It leaves your face impeccably soft, refreshed, removes any excess oil and it helps dry up any imperfections you may have. Next we have the La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo which has been an extension of me for about 2 years and doesn’t disappoint, so when they came out with the Effaclar Duo + I was very intrigued and it proved to be even better! It is perfect for any breakout you may have and it helps clear them up and reduces redness. You can use it all over your face to prevent imperfections also, and again it is very affordable and retails for around €17 depending on where you go. I highly recommend this product and anyone I’ve recommended it to has not been disappointed!

Moving on we have the infamous Kiehl’s Midnight recovery concentrate which 100% lives up to its name. I bought it while I was in Paris and thought to myself if I’m ever going to get it, it will be when I’m in paris! I heard so much hype about it online and was at the height of my bad skin days so I decided to give it a whirl and I never looked back. You apply 3 drops onto your hands and pat it onto your face and it really does replenish your skin overnight, it hydrates, softens and it is the only product I’ve found that prevents a blemish before it appears! And last but not least is the Origins Ginzing Energy Boosting Moisturiser, which is the most recent addition to my collection but it is just as important. It smells like fresh oranges (my favourite scent!) and gives you a boost of energy, but most importantly it hydrates the skin as a moisturiser should. Hopefully these top 4 skin care products are useful to you, and don’t forget to let me know if you love any of these products too or if you want to give them a go. Enjoy! ♡
